The SCHS varsity volleyball team had a overall record of 20-12 in the 2009 season. They placed 3rd in the MSAA. They lost in the first round of sub-state against a quality Concordia team.
This year's seniors will be missed. They worked hard and showed a lot of determination and were good leaders for the rest of the team.
This year's seniors were Jade Glunz (captain), Allie O'Neil (captain), Justine Woofter, Amanda Shearmire (captain), Ashlyn Robinson, Gayle Minnix (captain), Tiana Lausch, Janessa Mayer, and Brooke Wright.
